Synteca, a Slovak group of technology companies, has entered the Czech market as part of its growth across Central Europe. In an interview with Forbes, CEO Branislav Šebo described the Czech Republic as the market where the group expects its strongest growth.
Šebo previously led IBM in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and headed Erste Group’s central IT organization in Austria. He now leads a group with annual revenue of EUR 150 million.
Sympulse’s role in the group
Synteca brings together 11 technology companies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria, including Alanata, Softip and Datalan. Its Czech companies include T-Soft, Taxlabs and Sympulse.
Within the Czech market, Sympulse is expected to serve as the group’s flagship for system integration and develop capabilities in data science, artificial intelligence, application monitoring and software development.
Synteca’s plans for Central Europe
Synteca was founded by Štefan Petergáč, Peter Kotuliak and Jozef Mokrý. The group plans to connect the expertise of established technology companies, strengthen its position in Central Europe and expand into other European markets.
